Thanks for stopping by!

I’m Christine, a 24-year-old Korean American gal and self-proclaimed lady errant at heart. I’m a born-and-raised Michigander and have recently lived in Chicago for two years. I currently work as a marketing professional for an amazing U.S.-based architecture firm and have also held a number of Food & Beverage service gigs throughout my career. I’m passionate about travel, hospitality, global education and new, meaningful experiences.

Growing up (and occasionally struggling) with a bicultural identity has given me a deeply rooted appreciation for—and respectful desire to learn from—different backgrounds and walks of life. I also had the opportunity to live and attend school in Japan as a child, and am very thankful for my study abroad experiences in Peru and the Yucatan, Mexico during college. Throughout the years, I’ve developed a nearly insatiable wanderlust to the point where—despite a college education, full-time job, close ties with my family and many other blessings—I yearn for so much more in life. So, I finally decided to stop twiddling my thumbs and do something about it. My journey to get there is still a messy, blundering work in progress, but I’m more than happy to share it with you through this blog and have you come along for the ride!

A few more random facts about me—whenever I’m not daydreaming about my next adventure, I love to read, run and try out new recipes. Family means everything to me (including my Misha, the most adorable, spoiled and feisty mini dachshund in the world). My ultimate bucket-list dream before I turn 30 is to learn how to properly ride a Ducati Multistrada and do a solo motorcycle tour all over the Americas (and hopefully be able to blog about it too!). My guilty pleasures include gelato, Indonesian ramen and binge-watching K-dramas. Oh, and I’m all about shamelessly taking them #foodporn pics galore!
